Triller no longer offering AEW Plus
The AEW and Triller era appears to be coming to a quick end.
Starting Friday, potential subscribers can no longer sign up for the AEW Plus subscription service which gave international viewers the ability to watch weekly Dynamite & Collision episodes and archive AEW content in addition to a discount on AEW pay-per-views — all for a monthly fee.
The message reads “AEW Plus is no longer open for signup,” then referring users to MyAEW instead.
MyAEW, of course, is the new streaming service launched this month that essentially replaced everything Triller offered but with one key change: offering AEW PPVs as part of different packages that significantly drop the per event cost significantly.
AEW Plus subscriptions are on a monthly basis so the assumption is that access to the aforementioned benefits will remain through each subscriber’s expiration date.
As of now, past AEW PPVs are still available for full price purchase on Triller in addition to the ability to access past purchased PPVs. How long that will still be the case remains to be seen. Next month’s Dynasty is not listed as an option for purchase.
Triller and AEW have been partners since 2019.
Triller has been under financial duress for some time, perhaps portending AEW’s apparent exit and decision to launch MyAEW.com with a partner. In new SEC filings released earlier this year, Triller reported that AEW accounted for approximately 19% of their consolidated revenue in 2023 ($10.3 million) and then 24% in 2024 ($6.6 million). 2025 filings have not been released.
Recent reporting has Orange Crush, headed by Adam Abdalla, as a potential buyer for the troubled streamer.
