United Empire vs. Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice set for next AEW Dynamite

The road toward the Forbidden Door pay-per-view continues next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite as the United Empire takes on the returning Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice.

After Will Ospreay’s win over Dax Harwood Wednesday, the rest of the Empire came out to attack Harwood which brought out Cash Wheeler, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta.

As they brawled and the heels got the advantage, Cassidy’s music hit and he came out, eventually getting in a face-to-face with Ospreay. It was later announced that Cassidy vs. Ospreay is confirmed for this month’s Forbidden Door.

The final match in the All-Atlantic Championship qualifying tournament will take place as rivals Penta Oscuro and Malakai Black will go one-on-one.

The winner will join Miro, PAC and a NJPW wrestler to be determined in a four-way for the inaugural title at Forbidden Door.

Here’s the only two matches announced for next Wednesday’s live show from Milwaukee, Wisconsin:

  • All-Atlantic Championship qualifying match: Penta Oscuro vs. Malakai Black
  • United Empire vs. Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice
