Will Ospreay wants another shot at the AEW World title and has his sights set on this July’s All In for that opportunity.

During Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Ospreay became the first man to declare for this summer’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament which has yet to be formally announced. It will be his first time in the now-annual tournament.

During an in-ring promo, Ospreay said that while Cope has a shot at reigning champion Jon Moxley next Wednesday and then Swerve Strickland has his opportunity at April’s Dynasty, he has been thinking about when it’s time to call his shot. That’s when he declared for the tournament.

All In will take place on Saturday, July 12 from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Last year was the first time in the tourney’s three-year history that the winner earned a World title shot. Bryan Danielson did just that and then defeated Strickland at last August’s All In to win the title. The tournament started in June and wrapped up in July.

Ospreay has challenged for the AEW World title once before, losing to Strickland at last year’s Forbidden Door. He is a former two-time AEW International Champion and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
