Young Bucks sign two-year extensions with AEW

One of AEW’s most popular teams are sticking around a bit longer as the Young Bucks have signed two-year extensions that will keep them in AEW through 2024.

Matt and Nick Jackson were originally signed through January 1st, 2022, before signing for the additional 24 months.

The two are also executive vice presidents for the company. It’s unknown if they have a separate performer contract like Paul Levesque does with WWE.

The former AEW Tag Team Champions have been out of action since this month’s Full Gear which, in storyline, has been explained as them not being medically cleared. Nick Jackson has been working through a bone bruise on his heel which got worse following the Full Gear falls count anywhere match that saw the Bucks and Adam Cole lose to Christian Cage and Jurassic Express.

The brothers have been with AEW since the company’s founding in 2019 following a breakout run in Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and the indies.
