• In an interview with Undisputed, Chris Jericho discussed his AEW Redemption match against Tommaso Ciampa and how he’s determined to stay in the best shape possible:
  • That was one of my favorite matches. I have to really be cognizant of having the best matches that I can. I’m under the microscope because I’m daring to still do this after all these years. I take it very seriously. I wouldn’t still be doing it if I didn’t think I could offer high-level matches like that and high-level stories and gimmicks and pageantry and all the stuff that I love about pro wrestling.
  • I’ve been training very hard to be in the best shape I’ve ever been in as far as cardio and body fat. I remember Ozzy [Osbourne] saying that when you perform when you’re older, you have a responsibility to still look as much as possible like the guy people fell in love with. Ozzy did it, Mick Jagger and [Paul] McCartney do, they still look like the guys we fell in love with.
  • That is my mindset, too. I want to still look like Chris Jericho and have matches like the one I did with Ciampa in Clearwater. The new Stones record, Foreign Tongues, just came out and it is one of their best ever. I want to be in that late-era Stones era of my own career and deliver some classics up until the time I decide not to do this anymore.
• New TBS Champion Maya World will be at WrestleCon in Minneapolis this Saturday after Skye Blue had to cancel her scheduled appearance:
  • Unfortunately we lost another one, Skye Blue had to cancel (don’t worry, Thekla is still attending). However, Ultimate Starz has already found a championship replacement. Please welcome AEW’s brand NEW TBS champ @MayaWorldd to Wrestlecon. She will be attending on Saturday only and will have pricing of $30/$30/$50 at the table.
• Red Velvet did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Rebel.
• ROAR Around The Ring and The WHIP Show Podcast have interviews with Tony Khan.
