Cedric Alexander’s TNA Wrestling contract is set to be up imminently, according to a new report.

Fightful Select reported the news Saturday, noting that according to TNA sources, Alexander has been under a short-term deal that is “up around the time of Bound for Glory” which is set for next Sunday. The outlet also reported that TNA is hoping to re-sign Alexander.

The roster could undergo some churn as Fightful reported there are some other deals up around the same time frame, but TNA is working to renew those talents in those situations.

Alexander made his TNA debut on the June 20 Impact TV taping, confronting Mustafa Ali. He’s wrestled eight times for the promotion and will be in action this Thursday for the Bound for Glory go-home show. As of this writing, he has not been announced for a match at the pay-per-view.

Alexander’s run in WWE ended this February and in March, he said he would love to join The Hurt Syndicate in AEW.
