Impact TV taping spoilers: Former WWE NXT wrestler debuts

A set of former NWA Tag Team Champions also made their returns as well.

The following are spoilers from the first of two nights of Impact Wrestling TV tapings from Orlando, Florida, that will take the company into next month's No Surrender.

Highlights included a new match being made for the Impact Plus special in addition to the debut of a former WWE NXT wrestler and two NWA Women's Tag Team Champions making their return to the company.

The show also began with a ten-bell salute for the late Jay Briscoe.

  • Jonathan Gresham defeated Aiden Prince
  • Mike Bailey defeated Raj Singh
    • Gresham issued a challenge to Bailey for No Surrender that was accepted.
  • Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight
  • Gisele Shaw defeated Savannah Evans
  • Crazzy Steve defeated Sheldon Jean
  • Bully Ray did a promo ripping on Tommy Dreamer which brought out Mickie James to defend him. After the two slapped each other, Dreamer came out to make the save which set up a tag team match later on with Ray banned from ringside.
  • Kenny King defeated Johnny Swinger
  • Sami Callihan & The Design (Deaner, Kon, Angels) defeated Impact World Champion Josh Alexander, Frankie Kazarian, Yuya Uemura & Rich Swann
  • Brian Myers defeated Dirty Dango to qualify for a four-way no. 1 contender's match at No Surrender
  • Jordynne Grace defeated Steph De Lander (the former Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT)
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary) defeated Killer Kelly & Taylor Wilde in a non-title match. Afterward, Father James Mitchell came out and said Rosemary hadn't paid respect to his boss late and brought out former NWA Women's Tag Team Champions The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) to attack the champions. Both Kay and Belle have wrestled in Impact before.
  • PCO defeated Shera to qualify for a four-way no. 1 contender's match at No Surrender
  • Tommy Dreamer & Knockouts Champion Mickie James defeated The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch). Afterward, Bully Ray attacked Dreamer while Masha Slamovich attacked James.
  • Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry defeated Matt Cardona to retain the title when Moose hit Cardona by accident after going to attack Hendry
  • Impact Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Eddie Edwards & X-Division Champion Trey Miguel to retain. MCMG will defend against Jonathan Gresham & Mike Bailey during Saturday's TV taping.
