Moose vs. Sami Callihan Monster’s Ball match set for Impact Slammiversary

Several additions were made to the Impact Slammiversary card Thursday, including a Monster’s Ball match between two former World Champions as Moose will take on Sami Callihan.

The no DQ, no countout, weapons-filled match was made after the two got into a massive brawl Thursday. Callihan targeted Moose upon his return at last month’s Under Siege from a broken ankle which was blamed on Moose in storyline.

The final entrant into the Ultimate X match for the X-Division title was finalized as Alex Zayne was announced Thursday. He joins current champion Ace Austin, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, former champion Trey Miguel, Kenny King and the returning Jack Evans.

Zayne was added as Austin turned on him during the recent NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament, joining Bullet Club.

In another new match, new Digital Media Champion Rich Swann will defend against Brian Myers, best friend of former champion Matt Cardona who Swann recently beat for the title.

In the video seen below, Cardona gave Myers the physical belt and Myers then challenged Swann to a match at Slammiversary to determine “the real champion.”

Here’s the current card for the Sunday, June 19th PPV from Nashville, Tennessee:

  • Impact World Champion Josh Alexander defends against Eric Young
