‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs. Kenny King X-Division title match set for Impact

An X-Division title match has been added to Thursday’s Impact Wrestling as “Speedball” Mike Bailey will defend against Kenny King of Honor No More.

Since winning the title at June’s Slammiversary, Bailey has seven successful title defenses with his last coming over Bullet Club’s Chris Bey. King is coming off a loss to Heath earlier this month.

Honor No More is on a run to collect all the Impact titles as Eddie Edwards challenges World Champion Josh Alexander at October’s Bound for Glory and The OGK (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) challenge Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers on Thursday.

The BTI pre-show match will see Bey and Ace Austin team up once again to take on Exodus and JD Griffey.

Here’s the current lineup for Thursday:

  • Impact Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers defend against The OGK
  • Impact X-Division Champion Mike Bailey defends against Kenny King
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Masha Slamovich Knockouts title no. 1 contender’s match
  • Mickie James announcement
  • BTI: Bullet Club vs. Exodus & JD Griffey
