During TNA Victory Road Friday, Steph De Lander announced to the crowd that she needs neck surgery.

De Lander was set to be part of a match teaming with Matt Cardona against on-screen husband PCO and Rhino. Before the match started, she took to the microphone to announce the news, saying she was in pain every day.

She went on to say this isn’t a retirement speech and said, “This is not goodbye. This is I’ll see you later.”

On X, De Lander later said, “Yes, this is real” and responded to a negative fan that the reason for needing surgery was “from landing on my head for 7 years to entertain dumbasses like you.”

When she plans to get the surgery, how bad her neck is, and how long she could be out for have yet to be revealed.

The 27-year-old has been in action just once since May, competing in a trios bout in early-August on TNA Impact.
