TNA Bound for Glory actual attendance & live gate revealed

TNA Bound for Glory

Some new information has been revealed regarding last month’s TNA Bound for Glory attendance and live gate.

On the night of the show, TNA had claimed a North American record of 7794 for the October 12 pay-per-view from the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Massachussetts, with new data from Wrestlenomics Monday painting a slightly different picture.

Venue operator Oak View Group provided a sold ticket number of 5554, a turnstile count of 6137, and verified it as a record attendance for a sporting event. Comps were not included in the breakout.

Listed capacity for the arena is 7484 which includes 243 premium seats which is still less than the announced attendance.

TNA spokeperson Ross Forman’s explanation for the number is as follows:

“Beyond our ticketed attendees, we also had many seats and standing room only occupied by TNA credentialed guests, media, staff, VIPs, and other groups that brought the total attendance to 7,794,” he said, later noting the 225 arena workers were not counted in their tally.

Wrestlenomics reported the live gate was $390,348 with $122,156 generated from food and beverage which the venue said was among the highest in their history. It cost $45,000 for TNA to use the facility.
