Trinity to make Impact Wrestling debut, first match announced

Trinity, the former Naomi in WWE, will officially make her debut on this Thursday’s Impact on AXS TV with an in-ring promo.

The promotion announced the news Friday night, shortly after she made her debut at their TV taping in Chicago. The promo segment she taped tonight will be what airs this Thursday.

They also wasted no time announcing her first match as she will take on KiLynn King, one half of the current Knockouts Tag Team Champions. That match will take place during Saturday’s taping and will likely air a week from this Thursday.

Earlier this week after Impact announced a major surprise for Friday’s TV taping, PWInsider reported that Trinity would make her debut this weekend.

The match will be Trinity’s first since May 2022 as she and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE prior to an episode of Raw due to creative differences. They never wrestled for the promotion again and eventually both became free agents.

Here’s the rest of what’s being taped Saturday:

  • Impact World Champion Steve Maclin vs. Rhino
  • Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defends against Killer Kelly
  • Alex Shelley, Jonathan Gresham & Yuya Uemura vs. Eddie Edwards, Moose & Kazarian
  • Chris Sabin vs. Mike Bailey
  • X-Division Champion Trey Miguel vs. Laredo Kid
