Matt Hardy reveals why The Hardyz are not retiring yet

Jeff and Matt Hardy in TNA

Matt and Jeff Hardy have spent more than three decades in pro wrestling and remain committed to being at the top of their game. While extending their in-ring careers, the brothers are dedicated and focused on passing down their knowledge to the following generations.

Speaking with GOW Media, Matt discussed that he and Jeff plan to wrestle until they are physically able to. He expressed their goal to give back to the industry through the next generation of talents like Private Party

“Yeah, Jeff and I, we’re masochists, I guess. You know, we want to beat ourselves up. We’re trying to ride the spiral until it ends and that’s kind of our goal. Whenever our bodies tell us like ‘Okay, we’re done.’ That’s when we’ll be done. But until then we’re going to continue to live the childhood dream and try and give back and help people. Like Private Party, like Leon Slater, if there’s anybody out there that’s young and we can give them some nuggets of information, some nuggets of wisdom, we’re all about it. We love being able to give back too, and I think that’s something that we take a lot of pride in.”

This weekend on June 28 at Slammiversary, the brothers will take on The System and The Righteous in a three-way tag team ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
