AAA streaming show on Twitch to raise money for earthquake victims

The AAA promotion announced yesterday a late fund raising deal attempting to raise money for victims of the recent major earthquake in Mexico.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide will live stream its show tonight called “Ring and Rock Stars: Lucha for Mexico,” an event from the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya with the top two matches announced being Psycho Clown & Rey Escorpion vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. & Pagano, and Lady Shani vs. Hiedra.

The show starts at 9 p.m. Eastern time tonight and will air free on Twitch.

There will be a donation link on the broadcast and all money raised will go to the Save The Children Mexico.

“Mexico is a country very dear to us with many Twitch community members, industry partners, and staff based in and around Mexico City, ” said Christian Borneman, Director Latin America Twitch.

“Since we were very saddened by the devastation caused by the recent earthquake, we spoke with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, one of our most important partners in Mexico, to see if we could lend a hand. What we collectively decided was to host the livestream of their highly anticipated ‘Ring & Rock Stars: Lucha for Mexico’ event on Twitch in order to tap into our global audience. All of the donation proceeds from the airing will then go to Save the Children Mexico, a charity that supports child-focused disaster relief efforts.”
