MLW announces Kings of Colosseum for January 6th

MLW announced Tuesday that their second-ever Kings of Colosseum event will air on YouTube, beIN, and their other partners instead of pay-per-view.

The event is set for Wednesday, January 6th, with a 7 PM Eastern start time. It’s believed to have been filmed as the company’s recent set of TV tapings in Orlando, Florida.

The first match will be announced on Fusion Wednesday, but the show will feature World Champion Fatu, National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone, Tag Team Champions The Von Erichs, Lawlor and the rest of Team Filthy, CONTRA Unit and others.

Based on recent episodes of Fusion, it’s expected that Middleweight Champion Myron Reed will defend his title against newcomer Lio Rush in his promotional debut.

The first Colosseum show aired in July 2019 from Cicero, Illinois, and featured Fatu defeating Tom Lawlor for their World title and The Dynasty (MJF and Richard Holliday) defeating the New Hart Foundation (Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Teddy Hart) for the tag titles in a ladder match.
