The WWE NXT women’s roster may see a big shakeup if a new report from Fightful Select comes to be true.

The outlet reported Tuesday that reigning NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is the latest NXT roster member to be discussed for a main roster call-up.

“NXT higher ups believed she did a good job rising to the occasion during her 2025,” the outlet reported, noting she’s been under consideration ever since her debut on SmackDown back in 2022 when she teamed with Gigi Dolan for a pair of tag team matches.

Jayne is set to defend her title against women’s Iron Survivor Challenge winner Kendal Grey on Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil edition of NXT TV.

If her call-up comes to be, she would join Jordynne Grace, Lash Legend and possibly Blake Monroe as new faces on the main roster. The 29-year-old is in her second reign as NXT Women’s Champion and is also a former TNA Knockouts Champion.
