Jaida Parker vs. Nattie, number one contender’s match set for next week’s WWE NXT
A new number one contender’s match is set for next week’s NXT.
Tavion Heights and Jackson Drake will do battle on next week’s show to determine the next challenger for Myles Borne’s North American title. The two exchanged words on Tuesday, setting up the number one contender’s match for next week. The winner will face Borne for the title at the Great American Bash on June 28.
Since returning a few weeks ago, Heights has acted more heelish while maintaining his friendship with Borne, though tension has risen in the time since.
Nattie will appear on next week’s show to do battle with Jaida Parker. The two have exchanged words in recent weeks, but Parker took it to a new level on Tuesday after making an impromptu appearance during one of Nattie’s training sessions.
A women’s Speed title tournament will also begin. Arianna Grace will meet Layla Diggs while Izzi Dame will take on Thea Hail. The winner of the finals will go on to face current champion Wren Sinclair.
Naraku and Tony D’Angelo will also meet after the former won a number one contender’s match on Tuesday, defeating Mason Rook.
