TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace won’t forget her opportunity at the WWE NXT Women’s title at Sunday’s NXT Battleground for several reasons: one of which was her right earring being ripped out during the match.

The earring got caught on Roxanne Perez’s fishnets during the match which caused visible blood after it ripped out. Grace confirmed the injury on X Monday, sharing a picture of the aftermath and joking that after years of no issues, her ear piercings “will now retire from in-ring action.”

Grace was unsuccessful in her attempt to dethrone Perez and become a two-company champion in the process. She will now defend her title at this Friday’s TNA Against All Odds in an open challenge.

Two potential candidates are NXT’s Tatum Paxley and TNA’s Ash by Elegance who both got laid out by Grace during the match when Paxley stole her Knockouts title belt and Ash then made a surprise appearance to attempt to tear it away.
