Stipulation match for NXT Women’s title set for next month
The next NXT Women’s title match is set.
After a confrontation on this week’s show, Kendal Grey and Lola Vice agreed to an NXT Underground match on the August 4 edition of the program. It was stressed on commentary that Vice has never lost an Underground match.
New number one contender
Vice became the number one contender on last week’s NXT, defeating Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong in a triple threat match. Vice lost the title to Grey at The Great American Bash last month, the first PLE to air on the CW.
Both women came to the ring during Tuesday’s show, with Grey congratulating Vice on her win. Vice started to stress how hard it was to get to the NXT Women’s title and while she admitted Grey could beat her in a match, she couldn’t be her in a fight. The challenge was then thrown out for the Underground match, with Grey accepting.
The most recent Underground match was at NXT Vengeance Day on March 7, which saw Vice defeat Jordan.
