WWE NXT Great American Bash ratings released
The ratings are out for the debut NXT premium live event/special on The CW in the Great American Bash.
According to Programming Insider, Sunday’s broadcast did 394,000 viewers and a .07 rating in the 18-49 demo. The three hour broadcast started at 7 pm Eastern and went head-to-head with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door’s pre-show and the first two hours of the PPV. The day also featured TNA Slammiversary on PPV which started in the afternoon.
Other sports competition included World Cup games, the Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees on NBC/Peacock, and the latter stages of a PGA event that aired on NBC due to a rain delay.
By comparison to recent NXT TV on Tuesday, the 10 week average from April 14 through June 16 was 563,000 and .08 in 18-49. The go-home show last Tuesday did its best numbers since mid-February with 668,000 viewers and a 0.11 in 18-49.
The next NXT PLE/special on The CW will be August’s Heatwave which begins at 3 pm Eastern and goes head-to-head with AEW All In.
