WWE NXT Halloween Havoc reportedly scheduled for Saturday special event

As WWE NXT prepares for this Saturday’s Worlds Collide special on Peacock and WWE Network, a report from PWInsider has their next one already scheduled.

The website reported Wednesday that this year’s Halloween Havoc will be on Saturday, October 22nd which is a departure from their approach in recent years of having it as a special edition of their weekly TV show on USA.

While they didn’t report as such, it’s assumed it will air on Peacock and WWE Network. There is no other WWE premium live event that weekend.

WWE revived the former WCW intellectual property for NXT in October 2020. The show featured Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest in a Devil’s Playground match for the North American title and Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae in a tables, ladders & scares match for the NXT Women’s title.

Last year’s show was also on USA and saw then-NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa defend against Bron Breakker and a Scareway to Hell three-way ladder match for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.
