WWE NXT notes: Naraku, tailgate party set, main roster wrestlers at house shows
Notes from this week’s WWE NXT.
In a notable segment, Naraku and Tony D’Angelo had their face-to-face on tonight’s show. D’Angelo told Naraku that he knew his past. Without bringing up NJPW or House of Torture, he mentioned that Naraku won Japan’s top title with the help of a group. He said that at the Great American Bash, he hoped that Naraku would face him by himself.
After D’Angelo signed the contract, he passed it to Naraku. The former IWGP World Champion said that he would sign the contract in due time, and would hand the contract to D’Angelo signed next week.
As D’Angelo left, Naraku had one more line: “Evil is coming.”
