WWE NXT Vengeance Day reportedly set for Charlotte, North Carolina

For the first time since April, WWE NXT will venture outside Florida according to a Tuesday PWInsider report.

The website reported that Vengeance Day, the brand’s next special event following this Saturday’s Deadline, will be held at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Spectrum Center on Saturday, February 4th.

The venue is a large one that can seat over 19,000 fans. An on-sale date is unknown, but the show could be formally announced on Saturday with that information to follow.

This year’s Vengeance Day aired as a special edition of NXT’s weekly TV show.

The event would be NXT’s first non-Florida show since this past April’s Stand and Deliver which took place during WrestleMania weekend in Dallas, Texas. Before that, the last special event outside Florida was a TakeOver show in Portland, Oregon, in February 2020.

Following Vengeance Day, it’s expected NXT will hold another Stand and Deliver event during WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles, California.

WWE NXT leader Shawn Michaels will talk about Deadline, and perhaps Vengeance Day, on Thursday afternoon during a media call.
