The build to Halloween Havoc continued on last night's NXT.

Pretty Deadly kicked off the show with a "Commonwealth Address." The NXT Tag Team Champions were dressed in their regal best complete with powdered wigs and robes. After claiming they are out of challengers, Elton Prince and Kit Wilson attempted to issue a decree that they would be the champions "forever." This brought out Ridge Holland and Butch of the Brawling Brutes and a championship match was made for later in the night.

Holland and Butch looked like they were on track to win the titles until Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium interfered. This allowed the champions to hit Spilt Milk and Prince pinned Holland to win the match.

NXT this week also featured a new setup inside the WWE Performance Center. The brand has switched back to a black and gold theme with a darker-colored ring mat.

Additionally, two more matches were confirmed for Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 22. Cora Jade will face Roxanne Perez in a weapons match and Damon Kemp and Julius Creed will square off in an ambulance match.
