Former Braun Strowman launches production company, new show revealed
With the success of a non-wrestling show on USA, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is launching a production company and has his second show already in the works.
First reported by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Adam Scherr and producing partner Nick Antonicelli will head up the aptly named Meat Castle Media in conjunction with Magilla Entertainment who is behind reality shows like Moonshiners, Diesel Brothers and Beachfront Bargain Hunt.
From the report:
“The Meat Castle Media deal marks Magilla’s first talent-led production venture. Scherr and Antonicelli will work with Magilla chief development officer Kevin Duncan, who helped develop and executive produce USA Network’s Everything on the Menu, hosted by Scherr. They’ll create new unscripted series and formats, as well as podcasts spanning craft, competition, celebrity interviews and more.”
The first new show as part of the deal is called Hands On which will feature Scherr trying different tasks in skilled professions like the former Mike Rowe-led show Dirty Jobs. Scherr was called “a former tradesman and mechanic” in the story. It was noted that “a competition format set in the world of miniature model making” is also in the works.
After a rough start to the year due to a massive knee infection that kept him hospitalized, Scherr has been on a roll, finding success in Everything On The Menu, a show that is currently in production for its second season which is expected to bow this summer. The travel show features Scherr visiting different spots around the U.S. to try food.
Scherr was released from WWE in May 2025.
