EC3 posts update following concerning video this week

EC3 WWE NXT

EC3 has posted on X following a concerning video that was doing the rounds earlier this week. The former WWE NXT performer wrote “just checking in on everybody’s health and wellness journey!!!” alongside three shirtless selfie images.

The video in question was posted last week by Canadian indie promotion All Star Wrestling, which showed video of EC3 making his entrance. There was a lot of speculation online after the video was posted, with EC3 visibly limping. Rockstar Spud confirmed later in the week that he had spoken to his former TNA colleague, and that Ethan Carter III noted he was just selling from an earlier match: “The video circulating is taken from match two of a one night story, where he is selling the effects of a leg from earlier (which is already really hurt but working as mentioned he through injury).”

EC3 reacts to online speculation

There was more speculation online regarding EC3’s status and wellbeing in the video, but the response from EC3 in this latest post seems to offhandedly (but not officially) debunk claims about his physique and current wellbeing:

“8/8: Just checking in on everybody’s health and wellness journey!!! Reminder: comparison is the thief of joy…(unless posting shirtless photographs on the internet specifically so other people can compare themselves to you. Together, through accountability, positive affirmations, hydration, believing in ourselves, and proper digestion undeterred by international travel, disrupted circadian rhythms, and the gastrointestinal betrayal of prolonged air pressure…We can defeat today’s Lion’s Gate Portal #lionsgateportal and the general concept of “selling injury” in professional wrestling. Blessed #Journey #Selling #Accountability.”
