Low Ki vs. Tom Lawlor title match to headline MLW Fusion Live

A second title match has been added to MLW’s next live special.

MLW has announced that Low Ki vs. Tom Lawlor for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship will headline next month’s MLW Fusion Live, which is airing on beIN Sports at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, February 2. The one-hour special is taking place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

MLW is hyping up Low Ki vs. Lawlor as a match that’s seven months in the making. Low Ki has been MLW World Heavyweight Champion since defeating Shane Strickland last July. Lawlor also won a 40-man Battle Riot match that same month, with Lawlor getting his title shot as a stipulation of that match.

Pentagon Jr. & Fenix defending their MLW Tag Team titles against two members of the Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart, Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Brian Pillman Jr.) is also set for February’s MLW Fusion live. MLW is holding television tapings at the 2300 Arena on the same night as the live special.
