For his first match back in 12 years, Ricky Steamboat will team with multi-promotional tag team champions FTR at November's Return of the Dragon show in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Big Time Wrestling-promoted event on November 27th will see the trio take on AEW regulars Jay Lethal (as Black Machismo), Brock Anderson and a mystery partner with Arn Anderson as the team's manager.
Steamboat's return to action was first announced in mid-September. The 69-year-old last wrestled alongside his son, Richie Steamboat, at a June 2010 FCW show against Trent Beretta & Caylen Croft.
The Briscoes vs. The Rock N' Roll Express in Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson's final match at the Dorton Arena was also announced for the event.
The match will be the latest appearance in wrestling this year for Steamboat. He appeared at a February MLW TV taping, was part of the NWA 74th anniversary weekend and subsequent TV tapings, and was the special guest timekeeper for an August AEW Dynamite & Rampage that was House of the Dragon-themed.
A future A&E WWE documentary on his life is also expected for this year.
