ROH announces War of the Worlds UK iPPV

Ring of Honor announced today its next major event would be an iPPV on August 19th from Liverpool, England.

One match was announced for the show, a four-way elimination match for the ROH TV title with KUSHIDA defending against Dalton Castle, Hiromu Takahashi, and Marty Scurll.

The show will be called “War of the Worlds UK — Liverpool,” and will be available for $19.99 through the ROH website and FITE TV. It will start at 1 p.m. Eastern time on a Saturday afternoon and will be the company’s first iPPV show outside of the U.S. or Canada, although they have also had streaming specials on New Japan World.

The iPPV is part of the War of the Worlds UK tour, with dates also scheduled for August 18th at York Hall in London and August 20th at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland. Revolution Pro Wrestling’s Summer Sizzler show is also set for York Hall on August 17th and is listed as a kickoff event for the tour.

ROH has not officially announced its next pay-per-view, but it is slated for September 22nd in Las Vegas at Sam’s Town.
