Women’s TV title match announced for ROH Final Battle

Ring of Honor Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet will put her title on the line against Leyla Hirsch at December’s Final Battle — the first match announced for the streaming special.

Velvet defeated Billie Starkz for the title at July’s Death Before Dishonor and has defended it twice, both times against Diamante. Hirsch has won her last two matches.

Both women are also part of the ROH portion of the Wrestle Dynasty International Women’s Cup but the pairings for the four-woman mini-tournament have yet to be announced.

The two have an extensive history in AEW and ROH both opposing and teaming with each other, dating back to October 2020. They squared off in the inaugural Women’s TV title tournament with Velvet picking up the win.
