Cedric Alexander re-signs contract with TNA Wrestling

Cedric Alexander

Ahead of his challenge for the X-Division title this Saturday at TNA Genesis, a new report out Monday has Cedric Alexander signing a new contract with the company.

Fightful Select reported the news, but did not have any details on contract length or other terms. His deal was originally up around last October’s Bound for Glory, but he’s wrestled for TNA eight times since then, most recently in early-December. That was his last match anywhere.

The 36-year-old made his way to TNA in June 2025, nearly six months after his multi-year WWE run came to an end. He’s been active on the indies as well, competing frequently for Deadlock Pro and House of Glory along with a few others.

If he is to win the X-Division title Saturday, it will be his first title anywhere since 2021. He is a former WWE Cruiserweight, 24/7 and Raw Tag Team Champion.

Alexander awaits the winner of this Thursday’s Leon Slater vs. Myron Reed title match at the debut of Thursday Night Impact on AMC.
