Joe Hendry’s TNA Wrestling return date announced

Former TNA World Champion and current WWE roster member Joe Hendry will make his return to TNA at this month’s Genesis pay-per-view.
Revealed Tuesday morning in a social media post by The Hardys, Hendry will be in attendance at the Saturday, January 17 PPV in Garland, Texas, but what the plans are for him have yet to be revealed.
Hendry hasn’t wrestled in TNA since late-September as he was quietly phased out of the company following him signing a full-time contract with WWE. He rose to prominence in TNA over the last few years and became a regular in WWE NXT as the partnership between the two brands blossomed.
While not official in storyline, Hendry is expected to be part of the main roster on SmackDown moving forward.
