Josh Alexander vs. Moose World title rematch set for Impact Wrestling

Josh Alexander’s first defense of the Impact World title will be against former champion Moose this Thursday on AXS TV.

Alexander defeated Moose at last Saturday’s Rebellion to reclaim the title. It’s Alexander’s second run with the gold as his first reign ended in minutes at last October’s Bound For Glory due to Moose cashing in his earned Call Your Shot opportunity.

Since that loss, Alexander campaigned for a rematch but was unable to get it. He is also a former Impact X-Division Champion and Tag Team Champion.

Moose said in February that has been working through a torn labrum which he will eventually need to take time off for.

The match was taped Sunday in Poughkeepsie, New York. Based on those tapings, other matches will include The Briscoes vs. Heath and Rhino, Honor No More vs. Motor City Machine Guns & Mike Bailey in a trios match and several promos.
