Konnan will be inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

The news was announced before the main event of TNA Slammiversary on Sunday, June 28, held at Agganis Arena in Boston. The induction will take place at TNA Bound For Glory this October.

Earlier in the show, it had been announced that Amazing Red will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame this year as well. In April, it was revealed that ODB will also be part of this year’s class.

Konnan was with TNA from 2003 until 2007, and then again from 2017 to 2019. During his time with the company, he was a two-time NWA World Tag Team Champion along with B.G. James and Ron Killings, better known to WWE fans as Road Dogg and R-Truth.

Konnan was also an inductee into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame class of 2009 and was inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame in 2025.

Konnan is currently experiencing health challenges. Earlier this month, it was reported that he had recently undergone a double leg amputation and that WWE has been paying his medical bills.
