Update on how TNA-AMC TV deal will affect Impact availability & archives on TNA+
With Tuesday’s news that TNA and AMC have signed a multi-year deal to bring Impact to the cable network, there were some follow-up questions as relates to the TNA+ streaming service.
The Thursday night wrestling staple has been available on TNA+ for subscribers in addition to its soon-to-be former primary home of AXS TV. According to a spokesperson from TNA, that will continue to be the case.
The following was released to our outlet earlier this evening:
“TNA fans will be able to continue to watch Thursday Night Impact on TNA+ as well as AMC. TNA+ will also continue to be the home of TNA’s premium live events and the full history of TNA.”
It did not specify whether that airing would be live or following the AMC broadcast. It’s also unknown if AMC will also keep an archive of Impact episodes that air on their network.

There are still some questions about the new deal, specifically the amount of years and the financials involved. As of this writing, no further details about either have emerged.
What is known is TNA’s new era begins on Thursday, January 15, with a live Impact episode from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, available on AMC and the AMC+ streaming service with a new start time of 9 PM Eastern.
