Tommy Dreamer is gone from TNA Wrestling.

On Wednesday, Dreamer revealed on Busted Open Radio that he and TNA president Carlos Silva had recently come to an agreement to mutually part ways.

Fightful Select is reporting that Road Dogg has been discussed as Dreamer’s possible replacement. Our own Dave Meltzer notes that the company has been in contact with Road Dogg for weeks, but it wasn’t known that he would replace Dreamer, only to join Dreamer on the creative team.

Dreamer said:

Yesterday, I had a great conversation with Carlos Silva, and me and TNA are no longer in a relationship. We’ve mutually agreed to part ways.

I’ve given so much of my life to that company. I don’t have any ill will or malice. I want it to survive, and I want it to be the best it can be.

I love this business. It’s hard because I’m not going to be able to see the people that I helped. I had a lot of people help me follow my dreams, and I love that part about the business of what I did.

It was a 24-hour job. I think I had it for close to 10 years. Off and on, I’ve been in and out of there. I loved going to work. I did. But everything comes to an end.

I’m not crying because I’m mad or I’m emotional, but I know I’ll be okay, and I hope TNA will be okay.

Dreamer is the latest in a series of departures from TNA Wrestling of late.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Tessa Blanchard had been granted her release from the company. Earlier this month, TNA Wrestling announced that Steve Maclin and Myla Grace had both been granted their releases as well.

Dani Luna was also granted her release from TNA at the end of March after requesting out of her deal.

Up next for TNA Wrestling is Slammiversary on Sunday, June 28, where TNA World Champion Mike Santana is set to defend the title against Nic Nemeth.

Santana’s TNA contract is expected to expire next month as well, and it has been reported that WWE is interested in signing him.
