Triple H explains concern that led WWE to pass on Raw star for 2026 Royal Rumble win
WWE Unreal Season 3 disclosed the original winners planned for the 2026 Royal Rumble.
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque explained on Unreal why the company decided against booking Bron Breakker in that spot. He emphasized concern on whether the star would be able to carry the pressure that goes along with winning the Royal Rumble, and whether it would come across as forcing him on the audience.
“The risk with Bron Breakker is everything from, can he actually do it? Can he mentally handle it? Will fans accept it? So you have to really be sure,” stated Triple H.
“You can make a shocking moment out of it, but I still worry a little bit that it just feels like you’re just shoving him down your throat.”
“I think we just need to think about it a little.”
While that decision was detoured, on the Raw after the PLE, Breakker suffered a hernia injury which sidelined him until WrestleMania.
WWE Unreal Season 3 premiered on Netflix on July 21. This season is focused on John Cena’s farewell tour, Seth Rollins’ injury and exit from The Vision among other notable themes from 2025.
