WWE filed for a new trademark this week, potentially pointing to a new ring name for one of the talents.
The filing was made for ‘Mason Rook’ signalling a potential WWE wrestler’s new ring name. So far, there is no indication on who it could be for.
The application is listed for ‘entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer’.

Over the past month, WWE has filed for multiple trademarks for NXT and upcoming WWE talents and the special two week edition of Revenge.
WWE is in the process of transitioning NXT talents to the main roster. While Sol Ruca, Ethan Page and Joe Hendry are now official members of the Raw roster, Jacy Jayne is reported to join SmackDown. The week after WrestleMania is often crucial for stars switching brands, notably for NXT names moving to the main roster.
