AAA notes: WWE star set for appearance next month, Verano de Escandalo week two
A WWE star is heading to AAA next month.
During the first week of Verano de Escandalo, GM Rey Mysterio announced that Penta would be appearing on the AAA taping that will take place in Torreon on August 15. Penta has been a big success in WWE, currently holding the Intercontinental title. He is set to defend that title against Chad Gable at SummerSlam next weekend.
Additionally, matches were announced for next week’s AAA show, which will serve as the second night of Verano de Escandalo. Rey Fenix will be in action, defending the AAA Cruiserweight title against Mini Vikingo. Meanwhile, a triple threat match will take place between Mecha Wolf, La Parka, and Lince Dorado. The winner of that match will advance in the tournament to crown a new Latin American Champion.
It was also announced that brothers Galeno and Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will be in action against unnamed opponents.
