AJ Styles suffers potential injury at WWE house show

A trios match on a WWE house show Thursday was stopped early after an apparent injury to AJ Styles’ left leg.

Styles was teaming with The OC against The Judgement Day in Hershey, Pennsylvania, when, according to fan reports, Styles did a spot over the top rope to the outside that resulted him grabbing his left leg/ankle afterward, seen in the image here:

The referee threw up the X sign to indicate there was a problem and the match was stopped early. After officials came out to check on him, Styles had to be helped to the back by Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.

The 45-year-old Styles has experienced a relatively healthy last few years, outside a two-week stretch in November 2021 that he missed due to a “non-injury medical issue.”

In 2020, he missed some time with a shoulder injury suffered in that year’s Royal Rumble after taking a spear from Edge.
