Another WWE Queen of the Ring semifinalist set
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan is heading to the Queen of the Ring semifinals.
On her 32nd birthday, Morgan won a fatal four-way match on WWE Raw to advance in Queen of the Ring. She defeated Chelsea Green, Becky Lynch, and Alexa Bliss, with Morgan getting the pin on Green at the end of a sequence where all four came close to getting the victory.
Bliss first hit Sister Abigail on Morgan before Lynch broke up the pin. After Lynch gave Bliss a Manhandle Slam, Green laid out Lynch with an Unprettier. But Morgan then stole the win by swooping in to pin Green.
In the semifinals, it will be Morgan facing either Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, or Sol Ruca. Those four will clash on SmackDown this Friday.
The semifinal on the other side of the bracket has IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez.
WWE will crown its Queen and King of the Ring at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on January 27. World title shots at SummerSlam are at stake in both tournaments, and Morgan is competing despite already being Women’s World Champion. WWE explained her inclusion with Morgan saying that she wants it all and is out to take everything.
