Blake Monroe teases new WWE entrance, talks history with Giulia
Blake Monroe says her ring entrance could change when she makes her in-ring debut on WWE’s main roster.
The 28-year-old has yet to wrestle a televised match on the main roster, although she attacked Giulia on the June 26 edition of SmackDown. The show was taped on June 23 at the O2 in London, England.
During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, Monroe was asked about working with Triple H. She called Triple H “very good at the entrances” and teased that hers could change for her main roster in-ring debut.
Monroe said:
“I mean, he’s amazing. So hands-on, and I’m really excited. I mean, I’ve worked with him a little bit, but obviously I haven’t had my official debut just yet. And I’m excited for the entrance because I think my entrance is going to change a little bit, and I feel like Triple H is very good at the entrances. So, I’m excited to see what we come up with.”
Blake Monroe and Giulia’s rivalry
Monroe was also asked about Giulia, who she wrestled in the 2023 5Star Grand Prix while wrestling as Mariah May in Stardom. The two also shared the ring in several tag team matches involving Giulia’s Donna del Mondo stable and Monroe’s Club Venus.
Monroe told The Wrestling Classic that she has grown significantly as a wrestler since her previous singles match with Giulia.
Monroe said:
“I mean, she was a great match for me in Japan. It was at a time when I was in Japan, I was still new to wrestling. I was training a lot. I was doing a lot of shows. I was, like, really learning. And one of my dream matches was Giulia. I just thought she was the coolest. I loved her. And I got to have the singles match with her as a part of this big tournament. And people love it. But to me, I watch it back and I do love it for that time in my life. I’m proud of it. But I’m so new, and I’ve grown so much since. I would eat her alive now.”
