Braun Strowman and a kid win Raw tag titles at WrestleMania 34

Part of the build to John Cena vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 was that Cena said he didn’t have a spot at the biggest show of the year and was just going to be a fan instead.

Had he stayed in the crowd Sunday, he could have been selected at Braun Strowman’s tag team partner against WWE Raw tag team champions The Bar as that’s how the selection process worked.

Before the match, Strowman told the crowd that his partner was going to be one of them. He scanned the crowd and then took a walk through the crowd for a few minutes to find one. Eventually, he settled on a young boy around 11 to 12 years old named Nicholas to be his partner.

Yes, this actually happened.

Strowman dominaed for most of the match, but as Cesaro and Sheamus got the advantage, he did reach for a tag to Nicholas who slowly got in the ring and quickly tagged out after a few seconds.

Strowman got back in, cleaned house, powerslammed Cesaro, and got the pin, meaning he and a middle schooler are your new WWE Raw tag team champions.
