Brooke Hogan opens up about visiting father’s body: He looked ‘ready for a PPV’

Brooke Hogan got to have a moment of closure by saying goodbye to her father more than a month after his death.

During a Wednesday call to the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Brooke revealed that Clearwater Police invited her to meet with them this week to go over the investigation into Hulk Hogan’s passing. While in town, Brooke visited the funeral home where her father’s body is currently located.

“It was actually a really nice day. I got to see one of my dad’s lawyers who I really have a lot of admiration for. We were able to hug and reconnect and just say hi. And I was able to see my dad, and he looked great. He looked like he was ready for a pay-per-view,” Brooke said.

“It was very nice. He looked like he was ready to go on TV. He was big, strong, you know, hair looking good, bandana on, Fu Manchu going. He looked great. You know, I guess however they make that happen, but he looked great. It was awesome to see him. And I said a prayer over him, and I got to say my final goodbyes and that was that. It was super nice.”

Brooke has had questions about her father’s death and how the investigation was being conducted, but she now says police have caught up and are doing a great job. She was able to go over the police bodycam footage from their call responding to Hogan’s death. Brooke thanked the police for the work they’re doing — and she also thanked Hogan’s wife Sky Daily for being “super sweet” and cooperative.

“Everything is going smooth,” Brooke said. “It was a really beautiful day.”

The only thing Brooke is disappointed about is that a toxicology report was not done, but she said no one is at fault for that because a toxicology report was not possible given the condition Hogan was in.

Hogan passed away of cardiac arrest at 71 years old on July 24. He and Brooke had been estranged since 2023, but Brooke expressed that she always loved her father and said their bond never truly broke. Brooke did not attend the funeral, instead choosing to honor Hogan in a more personal way.

Brooke said she does not think there was foul play involved in Hogan’s death but would just like to know exactly why his heart stopped. She noted that police were very open with the footage they showed her.

“Very transparent,” Brooke said about her meeting with police. “Some of it made me really feel for Sky and was heartbreaking, to be honest.”

Brooke asked the media to stop hounding Hogan’s wife Sky and to stop bothering those related to the investigation so they can continue doing their jobs.
