Cody Rhodes appearance set for final WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania
The final stop before this weekend’s WrestleMania 42 got some new additions for this Friday’s WWE SmackDown from Las Vegas — the host city for this year’s two-night event.
Ahead of his Saturday title defense against Randy Orton, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will make an appearance to relay a message to Orton and Pat McAfee.
Jacob Fatu will also appear ahead of his unsanctioned match against Drew McIntyre this weekend.
The new additions join the annual Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and the eight-man street fight between the MFTs and the Wyatt Sicks. In both cases, the official participants have yet to be revealed.
A previous report had WWE Women’s U.S. Champion Giulia defending against Tiffany Stratton, but the match is not on WWE.com’s official preview.
