Dominik Mysterio aligns with new group at AAA Verano de Escandalo
Dominik Mysterio has made new friends in AAA.
The end of the first week of Verano de Escandalo show saw Mysterio turn against El Grande Americano, leaving him to be defeated by Los Perros del Mal. As he was walking up the ramp, Dorian Roldan and Omos suddenly appeared and quickly made it clear they were all aligned. Rey Mysterio, who had confronted Omos and Roldan earlier in the night, was left stunned as the show went off the air.

Saturday’s show in Aguascalientes opened with Rey coming to the ring to reveal a big announcement when he was cut off by Omos and Roldan, who were still upset that Vikingo had to vacate the Latin American title due to injury. Roldan demanded Mysterio give the title back. Mysterio said he wouldn’t be intimidated by either man. Omos acted as if he were about to attack, but Roldan held him off.
The main event saw Angel be Daga’s mystery tag team partner against Grande and Dominik. The future Triplemania opponents had worked together tentatively earlier in the match, but after a referee bump chaos ensued. The rest of Los Perros del Mal went in for the attack, but were warded off by Bravo and Rayo Americano. Once the dust cleared Grande was able to hold his own against Angel but when he went in for a tag, Mysterio jumped off the apron, leaving Grande to his demise.
