Former WWE United States & WWE Tag Team Champion Jacob Fatu will reportedly miss a considerable amount of time, possibly well into 2026.

BodySlam.net was the first to report Thursday that the 33-year-old is dealing with a non-wrestling related injury that will keep him out of the ring for “an extended period of time” that could be considerably into next year.

Fatu hasn’t wrestled since a September 12 dark match street fight with Rusev. He was set to take on Drew McIntyre this Friday on SmackDown in San Jose, California. The match stemmed from a confrontation they had a couple of weeks ago where he called out McIntyre for always complaining about everything and blaming other people for his problems. McIntyre gave Fatu a headbutt and Fatu responded by laying him out. The two then brawled last Friday on SmackDown from Perth, Australia.

Fatu debuted in WWE in the summer of 2024 as part of The Bloodline angle, aligning with Solo Sikoa.
