Joe Hendry called up to WWE Raw, holding concert as part of next week’s lineup
Joe Hendry is officially part of the WWE Raw roster and will celebrate with a live concert in a week.
Michael Cole revealed the news during Monday’s Raw after WrestleMania when doing a quick rundown of next week’s Raw, saying that Hendry was part of the Raw roster now to which Corey Graves feigned disgust.
Hendry had been rumored to be officially called up in January as SmackDown expanded to three hours but that wasn’t to be. Instead, he remained in WWE NXT and won the NXT title, holding it for 60 days before losing it to Tony D’Angelo in a four-way at April’s Stand & Deliver.
He did compete in last Friday’s Andre the Giant memorial battle royal on SmackDown, won by Royce Keys.
Next week’s Raw will also feature the return of new Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch after she defeated AJ Lee to regain the title at this past weekend’s WrestleMania 42.
