Keith Lee among several WWE talents told to get additional training

As reported by Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE chairman Vince McMahon recently “threw a fit” about the working ability of certain main roster talent, ordering some of those in his crosshairs to do additional training at the Performance Center.

Meltzer noted that, in particular, some of the talent that drew McMahon’s ire are of the larger variety. PW Insider’s Mike Johnson put some names to that Friday, reporting Keith Lee, Otis, Dabbo Kato, Dio Maddin and Omos (AJ Styles’ bodyguard) are among those who are taking classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak. Arturo Ruas was another wrestler that is believed to need additional work, but he is currently injured.

Following his NXT Championship loss to Karrion Kross, Lee was called up after SummerSlam and immediately began a feud with Randy Orton. He has been a fixture on Raw, but recently made his Main Event debut in a win over Angel Garza.
