Kevin Owens returns to action on WWE Raw

For the first time since WrestleMania 36, Kevin Owens was back in action on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Owens teamed with Apollo Crews to defeat Andrade & Angel Garza on tonight’s show. The finish of the match played into the storyline of dissension within Zelina Vega’s stable. Crews pinned Garza with a sit-out powerbomb after Austin Theory tried to interfere and accidentally struck Garza.

Andrade and Garza attacked Theory after the match. Vega also slapped Theory in the face.

Theory then aligned with Seth Rollins and Murphy when Rollins recruited him.

The Owens & Crews vs. Andrade & Garza match was set up by Vega, Andrade, Garza, and Theory appearing on a KO Show segment on tonight’s Raw. A brawl broke out when Owens brought Crews out to the ring.

When Owens was last in action, he defeated Rollins at WrestleMania 36 night one. Owens said in an interview last month that he may have suffered either a slight fracture or sprain to his ankle and would be undergoing X-rays to confirm what the injury was. Owens also mentioned that he was spending time at home with his family during the coronavirus pandemic.
